About this space
Located just 20 mins from the newly opened Legoland, 15 mins from the famous Woodbury Commons shopping center, 30 mins from west point academy, and on the trail of Schunemunk Mountain, this is a newly constructed 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms home with a fireplace. It offers plenty to do while also serving peace and tranquility for those that seek them away from city life. With high-speed Wi-Fi and close proximity to the city (just 1 hour from GW), you are not really too far from civilization either. There are also many outdoor activities within 30 mins of driving distance of this house, in case you are bored staying in. Horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, skiing, and hiking are just some of your options, please check our guidebook for more details.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the living areas on the entire first floor.
The basement and the attic are not finished and will not be accessible to guests. For your safety, please do not enter the basement or the attic unless instructed by your host. We will not be responsible for any incidents or accidents if an attempt to enter the restricted areas without permission results in injuries. In addition, guests will be responsible for all damages caused by trespassing.
The yard is 1/3 of an acre of land – there is some outdoor furniture there for you to enjoy dining outside when the weather is nice.
Other Things To Note
To keep the max comfort of our guests and also to keep the place clean - no outside shoes are allowed indoors, there is a shoe rack inside the closet for your shoes.
Outdoor Fire Pit
We set up an outdoor fire pit for your use. The state of NY has no burn ban from March 16 to May 14 but backyard fire pits and campfires less than three feet in height and four feet in length, width, or diameter are allowed. Small cooking fires are allowed. Only charcoal or dry, clean, untreated, or unpainted wood can be burned. Our fire pit fits this permitted category, however, please always attend your fire, never leave fires unattended. Also do not use them during high winds, because there are dry leaves and propane tanks nearby.
